About Me

Venée specializes in compassionate Christian professional counseling for individuals, couples and families. Venée's mission is to help her clients raise their self-awareness about their talents, abilities, gifts and how they can exercise faith to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Venée's therapeutic approach is a combination of sound Biblical guidance with a psychodynamic approach that emphasizes cognitive behavioral therapy to support the whole person (biological, psychological, sociological and spiritual).

Additionally, Venée incorporates a set of overarching principles into her work that allow her to build effective relationships with her clients. Some of these principles include:
  • Conducting a comprehensive client history and offering the personalized tools they can use to address issues of the spirit, soul/mind and body
  • Merge sound therapeutic models with Biblical instruction that enable individuals to examine their perceptions and restructure their mindset and behaviors to lead healthy and psychologically sound lives
  • Support the advancement of each client by helping them comprehend that they are empowered to make choices, take appropriate risks, and identify options that allow them to reach their full potential
Ultimately, Venée knows that spiritual and emotional/mental maturity come as a result of the collaboration of the client, counselor and the Holy Spirit. She commits herself to creating a space where each individual may achieve their goals in an emotionally safe and confidential environment.
